I know many of you are worried due to the pause in U.S. government spending.

My take is that this fallout won’t be limited to just the non-profit, government and academic sectors - but will make its way to corporations as well. Nonetheless, I think the dust will settle, most spending will resume, likely sooner than the 90 day moratorium, though humanitarian aid spending may shrink.

Youth incarceration has dropped dramatically since the 1990s - proof that old systems can be transformed when communities demand better solutions. With 75% fewer young people behind bars, it's a rare bright spot showing what's possible when we build alternatives to punishment. But we're not done yet. 👊🏽
