📡 On my Radar
Donald Trump said, “The system is broken … and I’m going to destroy it.” People heard the first part and liked what they heard.
Democrats said, “Is the system broken? … Maybe we can fix some small parts of it.” People heard the second part and disliked what they heard.
But what if we acknowledge that the system is broken—and instead of destroying or merely adjusting it, we transform it into something that actually works?
Instead of eliminating books from libraries, how about making teaching in public schools a viable profession?
Instead of sending missiles to countries with universal health care, how about building a universal health care system of our own first?
Instead of spending $100 billion on corporate subsidies for large companies already generating massive profits, how about investing that money in small businesses—the real drivers of our economy and the main providers of jobs?
Let’s build a society that cares less about Elon’s 150th billion and more about a family’s first $1,000.
